Sports are an important part of just about every society, every country and every part of our planet. In one way or the other, everyone is involved in sports, whether playing or watching or knowing someone who plays. They offer us a change from the monotony of daily life.Sports give us energy and strength, removes lethargy. They improve blood circulation. This is one single aspect which fills humans with enthusiasm in no time.
Sports are played for fun or for money or sometimes both. Just about every sport has both professionals (those who compete for money) and amateurs (those who do not compete for money). As an anecdote, there are many people who play sports for nothing around us. However, it’s not all about money or fun sometimes and it comes down to one’s passion towards sports. Sports alter one’s emotions in no time.
Many amateurs who are really good at their sport becomes professionals. Sports bring people together and also set people apart. A team, whether professional or amateur, can inspire many fans to cheer for them. Each team has its own set of fans. So, when two teams or two individual athletes compete against each other, the fan base is divided into two. Such classic rivalries as Yankee-Red Sox in baseball and Barcelona v Real Madrid in football can last for years and years, with fan traditions being passed from father to son.
